Become a Pantry or Meal Site Partner
To be eligible to become a Food Pantry or Meal Site partner of the Food Bank of West Central Texas, an organization must meet specific criteria, such as:
- Must be recognized by the IRS as having a current 501 ( c ) 3 tax-exempt status or meet the definitional requirements of a church as established by the IRS.
- Must provide food or meals to the food insecure at no charge
- Must be located in the 13-county area served by the Food Bank of West Central Texas

Application Process
Complete & Submit Application

Fill out the New Partner Interest Form to determine eligibility.
Once approved, complete the Partnership Application can gather required documents:
- 501(c)(3) IRS Letter or proof of an established church
- Photos of storage area (inside and outside)
- Three most recent pest control invoices
- Food Handler's Certification (for pantries)
- Food Manager's Certification (for feeding sites)
- Health inspection/food permit (if applicable)
- Program budget
Submit the application and all required documents for review.
Site Review & Approval

- FBWCT schedules a site visit to assess readiness.
- Agency Relations staff submit documentation and findings to the FBWCT Board of Directors for approval or recommendations.
- You'll be notified of the final decision and given guidance on next steps.
Training & Ongoing Requirements

- Attend New Partner Agency Training (required before activation)
- Ensure new staff complete training when turnover occurs.
- Attend all mandatory Agency Conferences.
- Submit all required documents, as requested.
- Participate in an annual site visit/inspection by FBWCT.
- Maintain food safety certification for at least one volunteer or staff member.
- Follow all member requirements outlined in partner agreements
