Mobile Food Pantry Program
The Mobile Food Pantry Program delivers food to communities throughout the West Central Texas area. The food bank delivers food at no cost to the sites, each of which provides the facility, a site coordinator and volunteers who distribute the food. Sites receive food regularly, usually monthly.
Mobile Food Pantries rely on volunteers to distribute food to community members in an equitable and efficient manner that respects the dignity of every client. If you would like to make a big impact on your community and enjoy working with people, consider volunteering at a Mobile Food Pantry site. Whether you are an individual, family, or group, the Mobile Food Pantries could use your help!
Drive-Thru Pantry Program
The Food Bank of West Central Texas’ Drive-Thru Pantry provides faster, easier access to nutritious food assistance for families across the Big Country. Designed to reduce wait times and improve accessibility, the program allows neighbors to receive groceries directly from their vehicles in a safe, convenient, and dignified way.
The Drive-Thru Pantry is part of the Food Bank’s expanded facility and growing commitment to serving more families throughout West Central Texas. Monthly distributions help close critical gaps in food access while creating a more efficient experience for clients, volunteers, and staff alike.
Current Drive-Thru Pantry distribution times include:
• 1st Thursday of each month (Senior Resource Day!)— 9:00 – 10:30 AM
• 2nd Saturday of each month — 9:00 – 10:30 AM
• 3rd Monday of each month — 4:30 – 6:00 PM
